Circular Plastics Illawarra surveys the community and urges
local councils to take action
Circular Plastics Illawarra’s community survey revealed intense frustration at a lack of local recycling for soft plastics. Soft plastics are currently not accepted in kerbside recycling bins or at Council recycling depots in the Illawarra. Local councils are being called on to support a convenient, accessible collection system for soft plastics recycling across Illawarra.
